This past weekend I participated in the Bloggiesta over at MAW Books . I had the opportunity to learn a few new skills, like how to create banners & buttons, how to create a Google document and I got that cool survey (thanks to those who took the time to help me out with that) and I learned how to organize blog material, etc. I was great. I appreciate the fact that Natasha took the time to organize this event.
I also had the opportunity to visit many, many, many book review blogs. I had no idea there were so many of them or how awesome they are. The mini-challenges were led by book bloggers and after you completed an assignment you posted on the blogger’s site. Not only did the blogger/instructor give feedback but co-challengers did too. It was a great atmosphere of people sharing their knowledge and experience. It was a nice feeling to be a part of something like that.
There were over 250 bloggers who participated in the Bloggiesta. We all learned new skills and no doubt our blogs will be better for that. And since I’ve learned so much (and there’s still more to learn) I’d like to pay it back a little by sharing some of the new review sites I’ve found and will be visiting. Check them out when you have a chance.
