Six Sentence Sunday 3/11/12

Thanks for participating in Six Sentence Sunday and stopping by to visit. Today I’m sharing a snippet that happens just after Wick leaves Cassie’s house. It was their first face-to-face.

Cassie heard the front door close and she exhaled the breath she’d been holding. The guy working on her house was Wick Adams. How the hell did that happen? Her grip on the kitchen counter top edge tightened. She had no doubt he’d walk off her job and probably take Forbes with him. And he had every right to as soon as he learned who she was.
